| Why should I choose a Windsor Palms home and not Orlando discount hotels?
Where do we start? The location is incredible, just 2.5miles from Disney, 5minutes from I4, and 35mins from Orlando International Airport. The 24hr security gated resort itself is mesmerising, with more than 3 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and an abundance of 1st class amenities. Orlando hotels in the Disney area can be very expensive; in fact you will probably pay the same price for one person as you would for the entire home up to 10 people! In addition you are not just in one room, you have individual lounge, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms. The less expensive discount hotels or motels can be very basic tp say the least! If you wish to meet with other guests you've also got all the resort amenities to share. A perfect solution to all your holiday needs. Has the villa got any safety features?As the villa is brand new it has all the safety features required by state law (and more). They include alarms on the pool doors and interior security lighting in case of an emergency. A fire extinguisher is also supplied for your family's safety. We also provide plastic cups, plates etc to be used in the pool area. Has the villa got a phone?Yes plus we offer free local, national and international calls. This includes to mobile or cell phones anywhere in the world. Has the villa got internet access?Yes there is a free wired wireless broadband/dsl connection. All you need is to bring your laptop! Additionally , at a small charge, there are several internet enabled computers at the business centre in the clubhouse. Will I get a discount if I visit the villa again?If you revisit us any time we will reward your loyalty with a 10% discount off the current rates. If you can't find what you want here your only yards from Highway 192 that has literally hundreds of stores. Is there a shop on the resort?Yes there is a shop by the pool. It sells day-to-day items such as snacks and drinks. Is this a time share offer?Absolutely not. What is required to make a reservation?The booking process is very simple. The basic steps are:
When you book, you will be required to pay a booking deposit with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payments can be made by credit card via paypal, part of eBay, or posted/wired to to our Florida bank account. When is check-in & check-out time?Ordinarily your home will be available for Check-in at around 4:00 p.m. Your Check-out Time is normally between 10:00am on your departure date. Windsor Palms Resort is a secure community with a gatehouse which is manned 24/7. Addionally we have a monitored ADT alarm system. How close is Windsor Palms to the Disney Theme Parks?We’re one of the closest! It will genuinely take you just over 5 minutes to get to Disney.
Universal and Sea World are just 20-25 minutes away. Is there Transportation to the parks?Transportation is available to most Theme Parks and several Shopping Malls (at an additional charge). The time table is displayed inside the Windsor Palms on-site sundry shop which changes monthly. Is the pool heated?Windsor Palms Resort offers you the perfect vacation community including an Olympic sized swimming pool in the Clubhouse complex. It is available to all guests and is heated at no extra cost during the winter months. Sorry, no due to allergies. Do you provide air conditioning and heat?Yes, our home is fully air conditioned and has heat too and this is included in our rates. Is the kitchen fully equipped?Yes, we a fully equipped kitchen including cooking utensils knives forks dishes etc, oven & hob (cooker), microwave, refrigerator & ice maker, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher, everything you need for the perfect vacation. Are linens and towels provided?Yes, ample clean linen & towels are provided. Are there laundry facilities?Yes, a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Are there cleaning supplies? We provide regular cleaning items such as a mop, brush or broom, dustpan. Additionally starting supplies of soap etc are provided. No, the property is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure and is included in your rate. A Mid-stay clean and shine can be arranged at additional cost. Is the property Non-Smoking?In accordance with Florida State Laws, all properties and communal areas are designated No Smoking areas. Our pool home does permit smoking outside in the private pool area or patio but no smoking is permitted inside our home. How much deposit and where do we pick up the keys?The deposit is $150/£100 per week. Key collection is at the villa via a coded lock box. What if something breaks at our home?Our home has a local Management Company available who maintain the home in tip top condition. You will be provided with their telephone number and they are normally available 24/7 to you in the unlikely event that you suffer a problem with your vacation rental home. Tthe after hours number is provided for emergencies only. What if we need to cancel?We strongly recommend you to take out full holiday travel & medical insurance cover for unforeseen circumstances which may necessitate the cancellation of your booking. Yes, the swimming pool in our villa is just for you, whilst the community pool at the Clubhouse is available to all guests, owners and residents. There is also a virtual tour available for you to view the communal pool and the clubhouse. How deep is the pool?The pool is 5 feet at the deep end and around 3 feet in the shallow end. Do you have pool screens?Yes. All homes with outside pools have a pool screen which has a fine mesh screen allowing in the glorious Florida sunshine but are there to keep out the wildlife. How many people can stay in your home?We are properly licensed and insured and our Florida State licence dictates how many people we can allow into our homes. Ten is the maximum guests allowed and cannot be increased. Are all the resort amenities included in the price?Most resort amenities are free. Some activities such asthe pool tables have a small charge. This resort offers so much more than discount hotels!
