Florida Vacation Rental Villa Near Disney World, Windsor Palms Resort

Hello Paul & Jan,
We are absolutely loving your home-away-from-home!!!!!!  I will write in more detail when we get home.
Your pool is a big hit with all of us.  You will laugh, but we never did figure out how to turn the underwater light and the water fall on.  It has become a game to try and figure it out. 
The reason we are in FL is to watch our daughter play volleyball.  She did extremely well and the team finished 13th out of 39.  That is actually very good, because her team is mostly 17 years of age and they were playing in an 18 year old age bracket.
It will be a sad time tomorrow when we leave.  We really have enjoyed staying here.  The place is so inviting and open and provided privacy for all of us, as well as an area to be together.  The layout of the rooms is wonderful.  I can't say enough about how nice DisneyDaze is.  Even my husband is hooked.  :-)
Well, I need to run.  I will get back to you when we get home.  We will be in Clearwater for a couple of days and then will be driving back to IL.

Dear Paul:
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a wonderful vacation we had.  The home was just beautiful - we couldn't have asked for anything better.  What a wonderful community!  Of course, my boys loved the pool right off the house, in a screened porch, no less.
We had a great vacation - even after the fact I set off the alarm, used the wrong code to turn it off - (I actually kept setting it), the phone calls from ADP and the sherriff's office, and the three police officers who showed up at the door) - everything went smoothly, we weren't arrested, etc.
I want to thank you for the professional manner in which all the arrangements were handled.  Although I never saw anyone from VillaDirect, the pickup and drop off went smoothly, and the directions were right to the door.
Again, thank you for everything.  I hope we again have the opportunity to enjoy your hospitality in the future.  My kids loved Elvis! and looked for him eagerly everyday.  What a nice gentlemen.  I gave him your regards and he spoke very highly of you and your family.

 We just returned home from Florida today and I wanted to take a moment to let you know that we had a wonderful stay at your Disneydaze villa! I was initially a little nervous about going the vacation villa route verses a Disney resort. However, the experience was great! It was wonderful to get away from it all after a long day at the parks. I think that we are villa converts!
 The kids loved your pool. Here in Wisconsin we have winter and then good weather June, July, and August! Swimming everyday was one of their favorite parts of the trip and some of our most relaxing times of the vacation. We relaxed poolside daily! (Marcus came to tend to your pool and told us to let you know he sends his regards.) We also didn't need to order pool heat after all because the weather was in the 90's. The water was very refreshing after a day in the heat.
I also wanted to thank you for your personal service. I appreciate that you took the time to phone us before we left on our vacation to check that we had received all the needed information.
 We are talking about a return to Florida in November and I will be contacting you again to see if the villa is open if we do take the trip. We had a fantastic time. Thank you for everything!

Sorry we have taken so long to write to you so say a big thank you for
sharing your lovely villa with us at Easter - we thoroughly enjoyed it and
also your company just made it for us and the kids.  I hope you all got home
safely - our weather has been awful this week and I just want to get back to
Florida.   Just starting to feel better after the jetlag - it was nightmare
getting up for school on the Monday.   How has Danielle done with her exams?
I think Jamie sat his last one today so just starting to get the results
back now.
Jan I checked your availability and you seem booked up but I have a family
looking for 2 weeks from 3rd - 17th July this year (2 adults and 2 kids) and
wonder if you have anything available at Windsor Palms.   They have been
offered something at Emerald Island but I was trying to direct them to
Windsor Palms as they felt their teenage boys would enjoy the club house.
Let me know if you have anything - they would even consider a 3 bed.

Happy Monday to you!  I've got that vacation feeling and I'm ready to take on the world.  I wonder how long it'll last.  We hope your flight back was safe and smooth.
We did stay a fourth night, so please let me know the balance to pay.
The house was excellent and we had a terrific time.  Jordan (our son) adapted well to everything, we think the Disney room was the big reason.

Hi Paul and Jan,
We arrived home Saturday from our week long Disney vacation. We had a wonderful time. The house was great! I'll never stay in a Disney hotel again! The kids were in the pool 15 minutes after we arrived and swam almost everyday. Commuting in and out of the parks was easier than we expected. We had breakfast at the house everyday and cooked in on a few evenings which saved us a bundle not having to pay for Disney restaurants the whole time. It was so great to have a big house to spread out in after long days in the park instead of having to be cramped in a single hotel room. I'd throw a load of laundry in the machine in the morning and dry them in the evening -- I went home after nine days with all clean clothes!
The kids had a blast in the parks and I can honestly say that we were all exhausted by days end. The Playstation was a hit with all three of the kids. We arrived after-hours on Saturday and left early the next week, so we never actually talked with anyone from Villa Direct. But the keys were in the lock box right where they were supposed to be and the house was very clean and orderly when we arrived.
We just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to use your home on our vacation. I've forwarded a link to a website where I've loaded a few pictures from our trip. Most are of the house and pool.
The entire vacation was a pleasant experience and I'd gladly recommend home rental to anyone planning such a trip!

February, we spent 2 weeks on the florida keys for the fishing, it was his 
turn then. We had a fabulous time and will definitely try to book with you

Hi Paul and Jan,
We had a lovely holiday in your Disney-daze home. 
It looked lovely and welcoming then and just as you would have wished any
visitors to see it at its best.
Our friends arrived a week later and they too loved the villa.
We thought the villa was beautifully decorated and the ambience was very
relaxing. We had a good Xmas day, but had to keep dodging the heavy showers
in Epcot, but we knew we were going back to a Turkey dinner and wine etc so
it didn't matter too much.
Thank you very much.  
Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend
it to friends.

Anyway, just to say thank you for a wonderful experience. it was a privilege 
for us all to stay in your home, a really beautiful home at that!.

We all had a good time although as you warned it was very hectic! we would 
certainly not rule out going again, and it is not everywhere we would give 
that accolade to.

Dear Paul and Jan:
I WILL send you a picture or two once we settle back down and I finish the work week, as the wife took a bunch of my son - she said she had to write before we left because you place was GREAT.
We returned late last night from South Carolina (Kiawa, where the in-laws have a house) and I had a card waiting for me from my nephew Joey the 12 yr old. He said "Alex, thank you for the best vacation ever. The POOL was fantab. I never thought I would ever have a pool in the house and have to get Dad to have one put in." I don't think my brother, a teacher in Somerset can even afford the mortgage on his house let alone a pool - but all three kids were enthused beyond belief.  My son loved the breakfast bar, the Play Station and the pool. He is a whiz at the skate boarding game.
The adults loved it too. We put the kids to bed and sat outside playing cards and talking. It was, as you said, very tranquil.
The agency people were professional and made sure we knew where we were going. 
As the kids all said - can we go back next year? - shows it was a fantastic house. 
By the way, my wife remarked a number of times that none of the other houses seemed to have any decoration in the garden or pool area and she saw the insides of a few (I visited with some other athletes staying at Windsor and confirm this) and said they were very "barren". It was, to us, like a second home.
Before we left, I watched the World Cup finals - and both Kieron (B-in-law) and I say thanks for having cable and the live games!

Apologies for delay in replying - I've been very busy at work since we came
back home.
We had a great time in Florida and really enjoyed our week in your lovely
villa. Many aspects of Disneydaze were appreciated by the different members
of our family - from the talking lamp in the Disney bedroom to the spacious
master bedroom. Of course, the pool was a great hit with all members of the
family.
Our stay has certainly re-enforced our desire to purchase our own property in
Florida and I'd be grateful if you could point us in the direction of any
information/contacts we may find useful.

We have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday at DisneyDaze!! Your villa is beautiful - very well decorated and furnished, we couldn't have asked for anything more! The pool was heated to perfection - like a hot tub!
We had everything we needed and couldn't have been closer to the action. The boys loved Magic Kingdom although we only went once as it was all a bit much for Oliver - too much excitement(!) his Favorite thing though was the "teacup ride" as he calls it, and of course, meeting Pooh Bear (he found the Pirates to be too scary.)! We found the beaches to be in easy reach - only one and a half hours to either coast, so with the temps hitting the 80's we spent 3 days at the sea!
Thanks for all your help prior to departure and thank you again for letting us stay in your Florida home, we couldn't have wished for a better base camp!
We WILL be recommending you to friends!

Paul....We just returned from our stay at DisneyDaze, and we were all impressed with your new home. The accommodations were outstanding, and it truly did feel like a home to us while we were there. The location was also extremely convenient to everything, and especially for access to the parks.
